Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale set out the terms and conditions under which we supply products to you when you place an order on our website (www.thebrickwarehouse.co.uk). By placing an order, you agree to be legally bound by these terms.

1. About Us

The Brick Warehouse is a UK-based supplier of high-quality facing bricks and associated products, trading online via www.thebrickwarehouse.co.uk. Our registered business address and company registration details are available on request.

If you need to contact us about your order, please email info@thebrickwarehouse.co.uk.

2. Formation of Contract

By placing an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase products from us. A legally binding contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance of your order by email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion, including where products are unavailable, pricing errors have occurred, or delivery limitations apply.

3. Product Descriptions

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate and up to date. However, colours, textures, and finishes may vary due to manufacturing differences, lighting, or screen settings.

We recommend ordering samples prior to purchasing large quantities. It is your responsibility to ensure that the products meet your specific requirements.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on our website exclude VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT and any applicable delivery charges will be added at checkout.

Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. We accept major credit/debit cards and any additional payment methods offered at checkout.

5. Delivery

Delivery charges are calculated based on your postcode and product type. Full details can be found on our Delivery Information page.

You are responsible for ensuring your site is accessible and suitable for delivery. If access is restricted or a forklift or crane is required, additional charges may apply. We will contact you after the order is placed if necessary.

6. Risk and Title

Ownership of the products passes to you once full payment is received. Risk of damage or loss passes to you upon delivery. It is your responsibility to inspect all goods upon receipt and report any issues within 14 days.

7. Breakages and Tolerance

Due to the nature of brick products and delivery handling, some breakages are to be expected. We recommend ordering 5–10% extra (15–20% for Forterra LBC bricks) to account for this.

If breakages exceed these tolerances, we will arrange a refund or replacement for the additional damaged items. You must report excessive damage within 14 days of delivery.

8. Returns and Cancellations

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions outlined in our Refunds & Returns Policy. This excludes non-stock, specially ordered, or bespoke items, which are non-refundable unless faulty.

Return collection charges and restocking fees apply. Delivery charges are non-refundable. Goods must be returned in original packaging and resalable condition.

9. Liability

We are not liable for any loss of profit, business, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our products or any failure to deliver within estimated timeframes.

Our total liability in respect of any order is limited to the total amount paid by you for the goods in that order.

10. Events Outside Our Control

We will not be held liable for delays or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to transport disruptions, supplier shortages, extreme weather, or labour disputes.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
